Kayak and canoe rental Season Passes for Summer 2024 are now available! This pass allows unlimited rentals all summer long. One pass covers rentals for one person (the passholder).
Ammonoosuc Outings is happy to announce that we are working with the organizers of Paddle the Border for the Spring 2024 paddle (Sunday, May 19) from Woodsville to Bedell Bridge State Park. We will be providing a hefty discount to our normal daily rental rates for kayaks.
Our current headquarters is located just across the street from the Spring launch point, so we will have our kayaks outside and ready to float!
As a special note from the organizers, we would like to remind potential paddlers that this trip is somewhat lengthy - it can take several hours of paddling to reach the finish point. Please be aware of your personal physical abilities and limitations before you decide to participate!
Nate Swain, co-owner and manager of Ammonoosuc Outings, adopted the southern section of the Franconia Ridge Trail in 2021.
What does it mean to "adopt a trail?" Trail adopters volunteer to perform basic trail maintenance throughout the year. This may involve things like clearing blown-down brush or trees, redefining trampled trail corridors, or clearing drainage structures to help prevent erosion.
Nate, Les, and friends will be headed up to the FRT on May 5 to perform the first work of the season. If you or someone you know would like to give back to the White Mountain trails we all know and love, check out the link below!
